Mensa Cards. I don't know why. As parents, Rex and I pictured playing intellectual games with our brainiac kids. And sports, with our super athletic kids. You don't picture the real stuff. The great days at the pool. The nights up laughing, playing cards. Going on walks and having great, unexpected talks.
So we bought our share of educational games. Games that barely resemble fun. Mensa cards. I don't really care, at this point, what my IQ is. I am pretty secure about my intelligence. I have high self-esteem about that. I don't need to put my ACT score on my license plate or get myself into Mensa. And the cards were boring. And I am giving them up. And none of the kids even hesitated.
So, did you give them away to someone who would qualify for mensa?!
