A Ravensburger Game. Rivers, Roads, and Rails. I gave this one to my nephew as well. It was sort of a puzzle game. And high quality. After a week, I am running out of things to say about games.
One of my favorite games we played around here was Clue. We loved it. And when Max turned ten he had a Clue birthday party. The kids were all detectives and I got a bunch of our friends to dress up as the characters.
It was a pretty involved game and everyone had a great time. My parents were Mrs. White and Mr. Green. My husband and the girls and I were FBI agents.
Rex was Colonel Mustard. The kids were entertained for hours and people talked about it long after. We ended up having the same party for both the girls when they turned ten.
By the time we got to the third party the parents were lobbying for the roles. I had to write in an extra character to keep the peace. It was the widow body and the woman who played her did me proud.
Maybe we will resurrect it some day. I threatened to have a "Clue" graduation party for Rex when he graduated from Iowa State, but he didn't seem all that into it. Maybe as a wedding reception. That would be different.
Mmmm...and you forgot Mrs. Peacock! Me! I was Ms. Scarlet for Grace's, I think.
Sounds like a wedding reception that I would want to be at!
